  I took a dark blue denim jacket that I found at a thrift store and gave it a new life by creating fun and color patchwork panels on it. The main feature panel is on the back and then there are two smaller patchwork panels on the front. I used quilting weight cotton fabrics in bright colors. The feature fabric on the back in Tula Pink's Unicorn fabric from the Pinkerville line. The other fabrics pick up bright colors of purple, blue, green, pink, and yellow. The patchwork is stitched on top of the original denim of this coat and you can see the stitching lines in the inside of the jacket.
  This jacket feature front button closure and two small pockets on the chest area of the front but no pockets at the side seams.
  
  This jean jacket is marked as being a women's size medium. When laid flat and measure at the under arms it measures 20" across. The length from shoulder to hem is 19" long.
