Patchwork Plaid Wool Small Messenger Bag, Crossbody Bag
Do you like plaid wool? Do you like lots of different plaid wool fabrics? If you answered yes to both of those questions then this may be the bag for you. I stitched the exterior out of various plaid wool fabrics mostly in colors of red, black, white, grey, and an occasional tan. All the seams are sewn twice and the patchwork was stitched with a solid backing cloth to help provide a stability. One the back of the bag I left a shirt pocket intact which is great for small items.
The bag is fully interlined with 1/4" thick foam and interfacing. It is fully lined with a fun cotton print of roller skates in colors of white, grey, red and black. Inside the bag there is a slip style pocket with two 4" by 4" sections. The bag has a flat bottom and a top flap closure secured with a brass colored magnetic snap.
Exterior measurements are about 12" wide, 10" tall and 1 3/4" deep. The foam interlining makes the interior smaller this is a bit snug for my 13" macbook pro. It does fit just very snugly.
The strap is about 1" wide features brass hardware and is adjustable from 33" to 53" long with a drop of 13" to 24" to the top of the bag. This is comfortable enough for most people to wear crossbody style.
